Konnect Media & Associates Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions are for the advertising packages created/provided/ managed/ maintained by Konnect Media & Associates on behalf of its clients.
Company’s Duties
Length of term & Rights to cancel
If you confirmed your account with a member of Konnect Media & Associates team on the 12th February, your renewal date would be the 12th of every month there after. So to cancel or pause your campaign you must notify Konnect Media & Associates no later than close of business, 9th of that month.
Payment
If you confirmed your account with a member of Konnect Media & Associates team on the 12th February, your renewal date would be the 12th of every month there after. Unless the date falls on a weekend as explained in the above section.
Konnect Media & Associates agree and deliver a warranty on the work we carry out on our clients campaign's for the length of time they renew there monthly agreement with us. If the client pauses or cancels there account the warranty will expire.
Exemptions
There may be some instances that could effect your campaign they are out of Konnect Media & Associates control and there for Konnect Media & Associates do not hold liability for any instances that we can not directly have control over. For example: natural disasters, terrorist attack's, facebook internal failure, internet failure, cyber attack, ect...
In the event any of the above instances or similar occur that would effect our clients Konnect Media & Associates would suspend any and all campaign's in the affected area until communication with the clients can be made and a decision on how to move forward can be confirmed, so as to not increase charges upon our clients in times of distress.
Company’s Duties
- These terms and conditions are with out negotiation and are the company’s standard for Konnect Media Marketing clients.
- All client accounts confirmed with Konnect Media & Associates will be active up to 48 hours after confirmation.
- Konnect Media & Associates will use the wording, keywords, pictures and additional settings provided by the clients when prompted, to assemble your advertisement ready for placement on your chosen site.
- When the client has opted for Konnect Media & Associates to use there field knowledge to produce the wording, keyword, pictures and additional settings for them, Konnect will email over a copy of all work carried out for the client within 24 hours of the request for approval.
- Konnect Media & Associates will maintain and monitor your campaign to ensure your chosen structure is working to its maximum ability.
- Konnect Media & Associates will endeavour to keep clients informed of any significant changes that could negatively effect there campaign.
- Konnect Media & Associates will continue to maintain, charge and run your campaign on the clients behalf until such time as instructed to stop as per these terms and conditions.
- If clients wish to update there champaign mid-month they may do so but they must give at least 48 hour notice before the client would like the updates to take effect.
- Konnect Media & Associates will send via email the clients keyword end of month report 72 hours before there renewal date, so that the client has adequate time to assess there results and make a decision on there campaign’s future.
- To protect all clients personal, business and financial information under the current UK Data Protection Act 1998.
- Any works produced by Konnect Media & Associates on behalf of the client will remain under Konnect ownership with all rights reserved until the client has had there campaign active with Konnect Media & Associates for three months consecutively at which point Konnect will send the client upon request, a transfer of ownership and production certificate. (this only applies when the client has opted for Konnect Media & Associates to fully produce all material for there campaign, when the client has provided there own materials this will not apply).
- If the client does not send the relevant materials needed to create and maintain there campaign with in 48 hours of agreeing to there package with Konnect Media & Associates, then the client understand that Konnect Media & Associates will use there industry knowledge to produce a relevant campaign based on information taken from the clients website and or general public information on the clients business/ company. (this clause, when Konnect media has had to produce the campaign fully due to client not submitting the necessary information and or materials in the designated times all work carried out will not be covered under the above clause).
- Konnect Media & Associates will post to the client a welcome and confirmation letter detailing there campaign and the information used and or supplied to us, as well as all relevant information on Konnect Media & Associates and its main company. This will be posted the same day as confirmation of the campaign to begin production.
- Upon receiving these terms and conditions the client accepts these terms and conditions fully as part of their campaign.
- The client must provide all relevant materials within 48 hours of the campaign’s confirmation via telephone.
- The client understands that they must have the correct available funds in there accounts on there renewal dates.
- If the client wants to update or make changes to there campaign they must do so at least 7 working days before the end of their monthly agreement and must allow for 48 hours for the update and or change to take effect.
- The client is legally responsible for any materials they provide Konnect Media Marketing and the client hold all liability for the supplied materials.
Length of term & Rights to cancel
- Konnect Media & Associates does not normally hold its clients to long term contracts and work on a month by month agreement basis. However if the client has agreed to a fixed term in in order to gain a discount on there campaign and additional set of terms will apply and be send with this copy.
- There is only a minimum term of one month with no maximum term.
- If the client does not notify Konnect Media & Associates at least 3 working days before there next renewal that they wish to cancel or pause there campaign then the campaign will renew for another month automatically.

- If your renewal date falls on a Saturday or Sunday in a month then due to banking days your renewal date will fall on the Friday before your normal renewal date, so any notifications about your campaign must be with Konnect Media & Associates on the Tuesday at the latest.
- All clients have the right to cancel there first month, but must do so by close of business (5.30pm) on the following day after confirming there package, as after this period the campaign would be active. This does not effect your statutory rights.
- If a client wishes to cancel mid-monthly campaign they can do how ever no refund will be available due to campaign already running for a period of time.
- A client can notify us of there intention to pause or cancel there campaign via phone, post or email. Whoever Konnect Media & Associates does not take any liability for failed emails or postal delivery times. Any and all notification must reach Konnect Media & Associates before the 3 day window closes. This does not effect your statutory rights.
Payment
- Konnect Media & Associates accepts payment in the form of Email Credit/debit card payments, Bank Transfers, Direct Debt's, Credit/Debt card, cash deposit or cheque.
- The day you confirm and preparation work begins on launching your campaign will be classed as your renewal date, and you account will be due to renew and payment taken on that date every month unless other wise stated.

- When clients are making payment via bank transfer or cash deposit this must be done before 12pm on the date of renewal or the Friday before if the renewal date falls on a weekend, failure to do so will result in a late payment. Unless there is a valid reason that has been accepted by a member of the Konnect Media & Associates management team, but this notification must also be confirmed before 12pm on the date of renewal.
- The client must make sure the right amount of funds are available in there accounts for payments to Konnect Media & Associates.
- Konnect Media & Associates may have to take payment after your set renewal date, when business banking days have affected our payment schedule, so we advice our clients to have available funds for 3 business banking days after there renewal date in this instance.
- For Cheque's, Credit/Debt card's and Direct Debt's returned unpaid the client understands there will be a £15.00 fee attached to there normal monthly fee.
- Interest will also be charged at a rate of 5% per day of the total amount owed. As well as the returned fee (were applicable)
- If your campaign retunes for a second month with the previous months balance still unpaid and no notification to pause or cancel your campaign, Konnect Media & Associates will automatically stop you campaign and charge and unauthorised cancellation fee of £100.00 plus the remaining balance, charges and interest. The client will then receive a final invoice that must be settled with in 14 days failure to do so will result in your account being passed to a debt management company for recovery and possible legal action if necessary.
- If a client feels they deserve a re-fund they must formally ask for one in writing stating the reason(s) fully. With Konnect Media & Associates having 28 days to respond in writing.
- If a refund is granted will be done in cheque /postal order form and sent 14 days after acknowledgement from the client of receipt of our letter back confirming the refund.
- Refunds will only be issued on a monthly basis Konnect Media & Associates will not refund a clients full champaign with us, unless Konnect Media & Associates feels it has not for-filled its duties to the client.
- If a customer tries to claim back there payment by falsely reporting the payments for there campaign as fraudulent or unauthorised, Konnect Media & Associates will instantly report the client to the police and hand over all evidence of there campaign and seek to prosecute in accordance with the law. As this would be a case of fraud committed by the client.
